Lipodrene Review And Buyer’s Guide (2023 UPDATE)

Lipodrene is the best-selling diet pill from Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals With Ephedra Extract. Here’s why the Thermo-Rx and Tri-Xanthine blends are best geared for advanced dieters.

Lipodrene reviews, ratings, and buyer's guide

Lipodrene is a popular thermogenic fat burner on the market from a company called Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals.

This diet pill is marketed toward both male and female physique competitors who are trying to get shredded.

Lipodrene is also said to help ordinary everyday people achieve great weight loss results with its thermogenic intensifier called Thermo-Rx.

In this review, we’re going to find out as much as we can about Lipodrene and see if it is really worth the high price tag.

What Is Lipodrene?

Lipodrene is one of the best-selling supplements by the Georgia-based manufacturer Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, which was founded in 1994.

Hi-Tech has manufactured over 45 popular nutritional supplements since first coming onto the scene.

Their product line includes supplements that focus on weight loss, muscle building, strength, sexual performance, and general health.

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals is also a company that was founded on the principles of innovation, quality, and consistency.

Lipodrene Ingredients

Lipodrene is a diet pill that some people criticize because it contains a proprietary blended formula.

The two proprietary blends are:

  • Thermo-Rx
  • Tri-Xanthine

There are a lot of people out there who are very wary of these types of supplements.

With proprietary blended ingredients, companies are able to avoid any full disclosure of ingredient dosages.

Thermo-Rx Proprietary Blend

The first proprietary blend of ingredients is the Thermo-Rx blend.

This formula contains the following ingredients, but we don’t know exactly how much of each is in it:

  • Acacia Rigidula Extract
  • Geranium Extract
  • Cassia Nomame Extract
  • Hoodia Gordonii

Hoodia Gordonii is the only ingredient in the lineup that has been clinically proven to help suppress appetite for weight loss.

More On Hoodia Gordonii

Studies have shown that Hoodia contains a molecule called P57, which is what gives it its appetite-suppressing qualities.

Researchers discovered that P57 targets specific areas of the brain that trigger the feeling of fullness.

It does this by interfering with or blocking the brain’s hunger signals.

The only caveat is that Hoodia Gordonii needs to be dosed between 400 and 800mg in order to be effective.

The entire Thermo-Rx blend is only 425mg which means that there can’t be an effective dose of Hoodia inside.

If there were a minimum effective dose of 400mg, that would only leave room for 25 mg for the other ingredients.

My guess would be that there is actually not an effective amount of Hoodia Gordonii in these tablets.

But we’ll never quite know for sure since Hi-Tech won’t disclose any of the actual dosages.

Tri-Xanthine Non-Proprietary Blend

Okay, this may seem odd but the Lipodrene label does in fact show the ingredient quantities in the Tri-Xanthine blend.

Green Coffee Bean Extract

Taking a look at the label, one of the main ingredients is 133mg of Green Coffee Bean Extract.

Green Coffee is a plus because it has been proven to help in weight loss.

In one clinical trial, Green Coffee Bean Extract helped subjects lose an average of 11 pounds in only 60 days. [1]

Caffeine Anhydrous

Another main ingredient in the Tri-Xanthine blend is 45mg of caffeine.

Caffeine is another popular ingredient in most other fat burners because it acts as a psychoactive stimulant.

Caffeine has been shown to boost metabolism, curb appetite, and enhance focus and concentration.

Theobromine

To top it off, 5mg of Theobromine is included.

Theobromine can act as both a muscle relaxer and a mild stimulant at the same time.

It also has the ability to speed up metabolism, improve energy levels, and purge toxins from the body with its diuretic properties.

Lipodrene Side Effects

Because Lipodrene contains quite a few stimulants, there are going to be some side effects for some people.

So if you are sensitive to the effects of caffeine, you may end up experiencing any of the following:

  • Jitters
  • Headaches
  • Insomnia
  • Nausea
  • Increased Blood Pressure

One uncommon side effect that a customer reported in a review was that it “makes your stomach feel empty all day, even after you eat.”

I haven’t heard of any side effects like this from a diet pill; it’s usually the opposite.

There were actually other customer reviews that claimed to feel such an empty stomach from it that they “actually ate more.”

Some users claim that they actually like the jittery feelings Lipodrene gives them, but these are always experienced users.

So for an average person who is just trying to lose some weight, Lipodrene probably isn’t the right choice for you.

Lipodrene Pricing

Depending on where you buy Lipodrene, it sells for anywhere between $59.99 and $28.95 per bottle.

You can shop around for the best price online and look for a sale or coupon code from the website selling it.

Money-Back Guarantee

Most diet pills sold online today always come with at least a 30-day money-back guarantee.

But if you look on the Official Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals website, you won’t find any type of money-back guarantee.

This means that you more than likely won’t be able to get your money back if you aren’t satisfied with the results.

The Bottom Line

The bottom line is that Lipodrene isn’t one of the best diet pills on the market today.

Their proprietary Thermo-Rx blend just isn’t convincing and thus it’s hard to gauge how well it will actually work.

Also, when you take a look at the reviews, numerous users report that Lipodrene has a tendency to make you feel sick.

This may not be the worst product on the market, but there are definitely more effective fat burners out there.
